A group of our Transition Year students had a great day at Trend Micro’s Cyber Academy in Cork last Tuesday. Trend Micro is a global leader in cybersecurity. The students worked with trainers to develop skills to enable them to deliver a 5-week programme on Internet Safety to local primary schools. Our former pupil Josh Hurley-Wilkinson, who facilitated the training, is a final-year student of Business Information Systems at MTU , and has been on placement with the company for the past year.
