Day 2 of the trip saw everyone up early and on the road shortly after 7am. After breakfast at the hotel we travelled to the Vatican to explore the museum and visit the Sistine chapel. Our next stop was at Peter’s Square and after some free time for food and shopping for souvenirs we were back on the bus and over the Spanish steps. The last stop of the day was to try some delicious ice cream by the Trevi fountain. Games in the rec room before bed to finish off a very busy day. Day 3 will see us up early and off to visit Mt. Vesuvius and the ancient ruins of Pompeii.
