On Wednesday, 6th December 2023, the Patrician Academy’s Student Council hosted our annual public speaking competition. The event encourages students from our school and other local secondary schools to speak about an issue in the world and what we can do to help. Not only does this give participants a sense of leadership and accomplishment, it raises awareness on issues in the world around us. This year’s particular topic was about water conservation and the ocean. Each student had a unique viewpoint on these issues and chose one part of the topic in particular to focus on.
