LCA students recently read a novel, Foster, and designed a cover for it.

The Academy U15 footballers had a successful start to the Munster Championships today with a 1-12 to 1-08 victory over a strong St Colman’s of Fermoy team. Our boys now progress to the Munster quarter final in 3 weeks time V The Abbey CBS or John the Baptist School Hospital.

6th year students, Niall O’Shea and Paul Heavin were recently selected to represent Ireland in the upcoming ITF Taekwon-do European championships. They will be travelling to La Nucia in Spain on the 22nd of November. They are both members of Cork I.T.A taekwon-do club under Master Mark Buckley and have been training really hard the …

The TY students of GAA Future Leaders in conjunction with the Hibernian Hotel are holding a coffee morning in aid of Marymount hospice this coming Thursday (21st October) in the Garden at the Hibernian Hotel from 10am-1pm. All are welcome for a coffee, cake and a chat.

Academy U15 boys played CBS Mitchelstown on friday. This was their first match for the academy after 13 months of waiting. Well done to all involved.

Patrician Academy Student Council presenting a check to the St. Vincent de Paul. The money was collected from their Non Uniform Day – Mrs. Glynn, J. Holland and Ms. Brennan and along with the Student Council members.

Well done to our 3rd yr pupil Denzel Obenge on being called up for the Irish U15 squad for friendly double header against Poland in Dublin.
