A good start to Engineers Week yesterday with a visit to Liebherr Container Cranes, Killarney. Students from TY, 5th & 6th year learnt about the various types of Engineering and the Apprenticeship offered by Liebherr.
TY Movie Making Competition
Congratulations to our 4A, 4B and 4C movie making winners. During Activity Week 2, students participated in a move making competition where their creativity shone through. No end to the talents in this group. Well done to everyone!

The TY Community Care and Life Skills class are hosting Pancake Tuesday tomorrow, all money raised will go to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

Boxing County Champion
Mr Delaney congratulated James Hill on his Cork County Boxing Championship win before midterm. He has since gone on to compete in the Munster championships but unfortunately lost out in the semi-finals to a tough opponent. A great achievement for James in his first year competing!

Academy United
Well done to the lads on our Academy United soccer team who got to the final of the Football 4 All competition in Midleton yesterday after great performances winning 3 games. They were narrowly beaten in the final 2-1!
Certificate of Excellence in DCG
