Fr Luke had massive queues today from all year groups and staff today to receive Ashes for Ash Wednesday. He was ably assisted by Javier who serenaded us with beautiful music as we waited on this Holy Day of prayer and fasting. The Ashes remind us of who we are. It puts us in our place, brings us back to reality and makes us more humble on our journey. Lent is a time to reflect, repent and renew our hearts. May these 40 days strenghten us in faith, compassion and service as we grow closer to God!
