Healthy Eating Week this week in school was a great success! From kickstarting the day with our Breakfast Club to exploring better food choices, we had a great week learning how to fuel our bodies the right way.
Students enjoyed different activities during lunchtime each day:
Monday: We started the week with a healthy snack tasting session – fresh fruit, nuts, popcorn and tasty bites to keep us going all day.
Tuesday: Our smoothie tasting was a great hit. We got to try some tasty blends packed with goodness to keep us feeling refreshed and energized.
Wednesday:We got hands-on making protein balls – easy to make, full of energy, and the perfect healthy snack to keep us going.
Thursday: We finished off the week with a look at healthy soft drink alternatives – no more sugary drinks, just refreshing, healthy options.
