Our Cairdeas class enjoyed a great trip to Mallow and Cork Train Stations. The boys were the first members of the public on the new platform 6 which is the longest platform in Ireland.

Funky Sock Competition for Down Syndrome Day
Well done to the winners of the Funky Sock Competition, which took place on Friday to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day. Big wins for our U15 hurlers & U16 footballers!
A massive well done to our U15 hurling team and U16 football team who both had excellent wins today. Our U15s beat Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál from Blarney in a Munster semi-final with a score line of 7-11 to 3-9. They now progress to the Munster hurling final next week. U14 Tennis
Hard luck to the U14 tennis team yesterday against Douglas Community school in the Munster tennis Cup. It was a day of tie breaks. At a final score of 2-2 the Academy lost out in the super double set. Great display of tennis by all. Very proud.
